Considering CPO 2013 Lexus GS350 (14,000 miles) - $34,298
Looking to get a CPO GS, we found one and it's been on the lot for 100 days. Is this a good purchase price for this car at this price? Not sure why it's been sitting but it's one of the oldest compared to the other GS's, varies from 44-60 days. Is this a deal or probably something wrong with the car?

It has the usual equipped luxury package and is Starfire Pearl.

Cant say if it's a good price for that car, but it's a fair price for a 2013 GS CPO in very good condition. Run the VIN on the Lexus Drivers' site and see what it's history looks like.

I think its a very good price overall but the car may be a very "base" model at that price point with such low mileage.
As mentioned, I'd confirm the carfax/lexus drivers website history and then make sure it has the factory/installed options you want. If it does, then negotiate down since its experiencing "lot rot"!

Check for cosmetic problems like if the bumper was reinstalled properly or the trunk is hard to close. If interior is clean or not. There might be some minor things that people see in it that cause them to walk away. Test drive another unit or two and compare. The one I got is the third car I checked out.

I think that is a good deal anyway you look at it base model or not. The car has very low miles for that price point. Lexus is really trying to push the 2013 models, I have seen many 2013 Gs model prices getting slashed around where I live.

That's a good deal on a 2013 with 14,000 miles on it. Most people put that much mileage on a car in a year. Starfire Pearl may not be the most desirable color out there and may be the reason it's been on the lot for so long.

After owning two CPO Lexuseses, I wouldnt get used expensive cars. When you buy like a $10k car, you know what to expect so it's not so annoying, but when you spend in the neighborhood of mid 20's to mid 30's on a used car, you expect near perfection, especially when its a CPO. When the sunroof started rattling or rattles and squeaks and weird body noises pop up all kinds of thoughts came into my mind. And of course I started getting agitated and pissed off after spending so much money. Traded in my 2011 ES for the 2015 GS when the holiday deals were going on. My mentality is to lease it for 3 years, take good care of it and if I really like it, I will finance the rest of it at end of lease. If it starts to give me problems, I give it up instead of being stuck with it. If the GS you are looking at turns out to have problems which you most likely wont discovery during a short test drive, you will probably lose 1/3 of the value within a year to a year and a half if you try to trade it in. Therefore, to me, lease to buy is the best option.

Are you kidding? Starfire Pearl White is the best selling color in Lexus. Silver and Red is probably the last color I would choose.
