20x10.5 or 20x10?
I'm wanting to order a set of wheels for my FSport all-wheel-drive. From what I read on the forum it's mixed results. I do not want the wheels to stick out at all.
From my research, I need 20x9 32MM offset with 245/35/20 on the front and 20x10.5 45MM with 285/30/20 on the rear. I will be lowering the Car on Tanabes.
Could members with both mentioned sizes post pics? Preferably from top down and from the rear?
I would also appreciate your thoughts?
Thank you guys!

you can run 10.5 in the rear but with lowering it and running it with 285 u will rub for sure , I am running 10.5 and with 275 I sometimes rub and I am running tanabes also,so much safer with 275 or else u will have to do some shaving on the rear fenders, I have seen it.

no unless I have ppl sitting in the back and I will go over a bump fast or a nasty driveway, or else not all, and the hankook v12 are very nice tires and I am very happy with it.

Keep in mind he has the AWD, so rolling diameter needs to be very close on all four. 285/30/20 is the right size to match up with 245/35/20. I know other folks have gotten 275/30/20, but am unclear if they did that on the AWD setup.

If that's the case, there is no way I could do 285/30/20 like the Manufactuer is telling me! The wheels will be custom so I can't return them if they don't fit.
And as the other member said, I am AWD and need the tires to match...

yes if they even tell u u cant run 285 then don't, u don't want to marry those tires and figure out the hard way, then u will damage the tires and u cant resell them and now u have to go buy 2 brand new tires, so wait and see if anyone will respond don't rush and if they have the AWD.

I have two conflicting answers from the top two wheel companies on this forum as to will 285mm work.
285 vs 275mm is important to me as I have AWD and 245/35 and 285/30 are the same overall diameter.
Thanks again for all of your help.

Will they only rub if you lower it? That may be where you will need to compromise.

You can run different size tires on the AWD...just be warned that it will likely cause the AWD system to wear pre-maturely.

Thanks jtrue. There's 2MM difference between 285 & 275, I don't "think" it will cause damage but I want the best fitment you know? I was hoping someone running the same set up would chime in...

285 on 10" with 48mm offset will not rub in the rear even if the car is fully loaded.
