Well I am looking to purchase some A/S tires and want to know what is the tire of choice that would be very good in snow on icy roads. I am leaning towards the Continental DWS 06 after watching many videos online testing them out.How is the hankook ventus S1, Continental Contact,Bridgestone? Any suggestions or input is welcomed and truly appreciated.

Have had good experience with the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Seasons - highly recommend them for snow/inclement weather.

I've read mixed reviews on he p7s so am kind of worried.does anyone have the Goodyear f1eagle asymmetrical on their gs? Is BFGs any good or are they only for trucks. because too much road noise? I want to get the best all season there is so I can enjoy my gs the most that's all.

Where have you read mixed reviews? Make sure that you're looking at the P7 PLUS. The P7 is a different tire and the reviews aren't nearly as good. This tire has the most overwhelmingly positive reviews everywhere I've ever seen...in fact I resisted buying them because the reviews were too positive.

You may want to consider the Michelin Premier A/S Performance Grand Touring Tire. Wonderful tire!

Just noticed they don't come in my size 235/45/18 lost now.

Do as I did - get the 245/45R18, which is one size up. They look great and the one size up makes less than 1 mph difference in the speedometer because the circumference difference is so insignificant.

+1 for the Pirelli Cinturato P7 Plus.

I ran Michelins on my previous car, but based on the reviews (the ones from people with a brain) and actual feedback from drivers on this forum, I went with the Pirellis and 100% satisfied. Continental is a great tire and all (OEM tire for a large number of makes and models), but Pirelli is known for their focus on upper-end tires instead of covering the whole price-spectrum. Plus they were on sale making them cheaper than either the Michelin and Continentals. $216 per tire at Discount Tire.
