Default Picked it up today in the rain

My mother always told me it was good luck to pickup a car in the rain, well today was rainy all day and the car got it's first bath. Lexus dealers sure are thorough, much more so than I have experienced before, a positive experience..... Here are a few pictures, I think I have listed what this car has but I will try to do it again

GS AWD, Atomic Silver
Premium Pkg
All Weather Pkg
All Weather mats
Paint and Fabric protection
Car Paint Protection (1/2 plastic hood, bumper and mirror wrap)
Door Edge Guards
Body Side Molding
Blind Spot Detection
Intuitive Parking Assist
(Cross Traffic as it comes with the above 2)
Changed tires to Pirelli P7 All Season Plus
I may have missed something but....

Pictures will show some swirls which are the rain on the sides of the car....

What kind of tire setup did you go with? I just purchased my GS and I really want to change the tires.. I feel every single pebble on the road. URGH!

Thank you.

After reading about these Pirellis here and at Tirerack.com i went wthe the P7 all season plus. Here is a link with the user reviews. Have not driven with them on dry roads yet, what i have read is that the softer sidewall will give both a somewhat softer ride and quieter as well. The ratings also inficate great handling.

Congrats! My parents have told me many times that if your out doing something important and it rains then it's considered a good sign. Went to closing on our new house it rained. Bought my last two cars it rained. Btw I love the Atomic Silver color on the GS. Looks great!

Great Color choice - although i'm partial to the starfire/ultra white colors, I think the GS looks great in Atomic Silver - there is something commanding about the Atomic Silver color.

Also: Can't go wrong withe Pirelli P7's - my dad has these tires on his '11 AWD GS and they are excellent.

Enjoy!

Check your tire pressure. Might be too high.
