Default Replace SOS w/ sunglass holder

I heard that Canadian GSs come with an option to replace the SOS button area with a sun glass holder. Has this been confirmed? Has anyone done it?

The GS 350 sure needs a holder for sunglasses. The Lexus engineers blew it by not adding one somewhere.

They could have done away with the driver side roof (grab) handle and put a holder for sunglasses there.

I could not agree more .... ridiculous . I like the above idea, going to start researching this. Tired of my glasses getting tossed around or crunched in center console.

I agree my sunglasses get lost all the time. Plus I now have scratches on the lens too. It's the same issue in my RX350. Let me know if you find a solution.

I bought
this one this one
and it works as advertised. Only issue is 1) looks like a tacky add-on to a nice car and 2) prevents you from lowering your visor towards the windshield. The visor will only lower straight down and the holder hits the windshield if you try to push it back a bit. Not ideal for some sun angles.

I agree. Just tint you front windshield with 70% crystalline and wear sunglasses. Will never have to put the visor down.
