Good grief.
Agree! There must be a reason for the delay because this much wait is definitely not normal. Most of the time after the claims adjuster looks at the vehicle a decision is made quickly if the vehicle is totaled, but can take a few extra days to hassle over things like; which body shop does the repairs, OE parts vs. non-OE parts, car rental, etc.

I'm guessing the insurance company wants to repair the car, but the owner (actually the lessee) is putting up a fight to have the car totaled - thus the long drag-out of time.

Roof Liners are expensive, but the worst part about them is installation. On my IS I removed the 2 front seats to put it in :/

Plus it also comes with a ton of wires that run from front of car to rear.

Yes & no... the most complicated part was to cut out rear window and glue back to get old liner out and new in the car for me on my GS...

Wow, now THAT is a pain!
Thats way more work than its worth, and this is coming from someone who swapped everything solo. Might as well get a new whip.

Our local Dallas TV station reported how a buck deer was hit by an older Mercedes-Benz as it tried to cross a major toll road in the Dallas suburb of Frisco. The deer went through the windshield and ended up in the backseat of the car. A traffic camera caught the entire event.

Be careful wherever you are - the deer are on the move this time of year...

Hahaha😂😂😂

I will keep you guys updated. I have been trying to get him to join this website but he won't...however he is following this link of the forum. He is going to wait a little while before he purchase another vehicle. The General manager has been great to deal with he says at the local dealership and have been in constant contact with him since the vehicle was returned to their body shop after the accident.
