Default Get slighly used 2014 or new 2015?

Looking for an ultra white Fsport with cabernet interior. Is it reasonable to ask $42,000 drive out for a used 2014 fsport with 15,000 miles or below. Or ask $47-48k drive out for 2015 model? Should I wait till December?

Thanks in advance!

I am also "shopping" for either a 2016 ES 350 or a 2015 GS 350.

Best "deal" I have seen on this site has been $10K off MSRP on an 2015 GS F Sport. I, and others, have noted that there are quite a few 2015 GSs in dealer lots...and quite a few of them are F Sports.

My dealer says that he has $7K total in "program" $$$$$ all added together on 2015 GSs...since I have not made my mind up yet I have not pushed him to see if he is "all in"...I am guessing he is.

My dealer has no local competition as the two metro Lexus dealerships are under the same ownership...so they just might be a little less competitive than some of the deals we read about from other markets??

Let us know what you find.

BTW...I am guessing that $47K "out the door" may be a little aggressive...perhaps a sale price near $47K but not the out of pocket costs...sales tax/lic/etc. $47K would be about $10K off on a 2015 GS F Sport...TomMArtin

Has anybody actually scored a new F Sport for $47K out the door? "Out the door" defined as the car plus fees plus tax plus title/registration; the amount you write the check for if you're paying cash.

49k plus tax is more likely for the 2015.

The most aggressive dealers discount the f sport about 6k msrp. Then there is 4k Lexus financial for leasing or lexus financing. SO about 10 off window plus taxes and fees.

A brand new end of model run out 2015 would be better than an used 2014.
You get what you pay for.
Up to you.

I'd go with a 2015 if I was in your shoes.

I did a deal today on a loaded up f sport, msrp of $58,505. My out the door was $47,405 (included tax, title, fee). That represented almost exactly $12,000 off in rebates and dealer incentives

I was having the same debate as you. Used 2014 or new 2015 and boy am I glad I got the 15. Worth the extra penny.

I got my 15 GS F Sport white with Cabernet for 47,800 out the door 2 weeks ago. MSRP on my car was 57,600. They also threw in the lexus premium protection package. Covers the interior of my car for 7 years. Consider we are planning to have a kid soon, I figured it was worth it

Congratulations on the insanely great deals! I'm jealous...makes me wish I'd waited another month.
