Worth Waiting for "December to Remember" Event for '15 GS AWD F-Sport?
I've been noticing more posts from members here who have scored some pretty good deals on new 2015 GS350's, so I'm wondering if it's worth waiting a bit longer for the "December to Remember" event?
I live in the Pacific Northwest so I don't believe there's as much inventory as SoCal, so I'm not sure how much inventory will be left up here by the time December rolls around.
Are there any good strategies for determining when to start negotiations to ensure I get a great price, but not have to sacrifice too much on the color and options I want (basically, White on black F-Sport AWD)?

December to remember sales event + after car was declared totaled @ the collision center I walked right over to their sales department, explained the story of the car accident and told him I wanted only a White/Black interior FSport GS and I would only accept one with a HUD. Price was 60k. I then went home.
He was real cool to deal with and got me an employee discount because of the totaled car. 540$ with 0 down. The salesman and manager tried in vain to convince me to put money down and I got up, took my wallet out my pocket and showed them a lonely, crisp $20 bill I had in it
That was the second time I went into the dealer, before I went back into the dealer to negotiate with them I advised him to get the price as low as he could because I wasnt stepping foot in there till he started me off with a good price.
His name is Howard Levy and he works at Lexus Of Pembroke Pines.
Hope this helps

Once the 16s hit the lot, the 15s will be dropped more.

How much more do you want? Mine was about 10K off two months ago. By December you may get some more change but you may not be able to find the combo you want. Life is short. Get it and enjoy unless you have your mind on the refresh.

I agree with 1111GS. It is generally cheapest to buy at the end of the quarter, and even more so at the end of the year. However, I'm hearing car sales are very good this year. You may not have much of a selection by the end of the year. If someone has the GS you want, I would get it so you don't have to settle on what they have left.

16's will be on ground by that time and they will be throwing 15's out the door. You need to be careful because they may not have your selection available at that time. That's the only thing I would be worried about.
Also, the deals with Lexus right now are as good as you will be able to find probably ever. Everything is basically outdated and stagnant and many vehicles are being refreshed or totally new models between now and the next 12mo. If a dealer tells you that you're getting an "employee deal", you're leaving money on the table. I have seen a lot of people getting vehicles for less than employee pricing. Employees generally get invoice minus another small percentage, plus any rebates. I have seen people off the street getting thousands off invoice plus the incentives/rebates/special financing.

You will get as good a deal now as then. The only difference will be whatever the distributor (or manufacturer) has available for extra incentives. Last December the only extra spiff they had was on leases and I didn't want to lease. It wouldn't have made any difference if I went in November, December or maybe a little earlier. They know now what they are going to have available and they will probably work with you.
But if you play games with them, they will make every effort to strip you bare. I would never pull some of the stuff that I have seen in this thread. I used to be VP of a pretty big Honda and slightly smaller Acura dealership and playing games with them is what empowers them to try very hard to screw you with hidden charges and dehorsing and other tricks of the trade. Not that I agree with that or condone it, but you need to hear them talking in the break room.

I leased a 2015 today that had an msrp of $58,505, and just over $12k off in rebates and incentives. I saw 2014 and 2015 used gs 350 f sports online selling with 12-20,000 miles for more money.
Seems like as good a time as any be use the 2016 will hit the showroom floors soon
