Default Jalopnik GS-F Review

I think it looks like an updated version of our ride. I like the styling, but to each their own. Thoughts?

I would buy one in a heartbeat just to have the additional space and comfort plus the performance. I recently drove a '15 GS 350 F Sport that my dealership was trying to sell me at a ridiculously low price and I loved everything about it but the thought of giving up our V8 torque and growl. I couldn't bring myself to trade in the F despite the deal, so the GS-F would be perfect, but $85K+ MSRP (if that is accurate) seems a bit too high.

high compared to what? The AMG and M cars are near 100k starting. The only options on this car is the orange calipers and Mark Levinson, everything else is standard

I can see why this would be a really awesome upgrade to our rides. It offers more space, comfort, and power! You'll have all the latest tech and gadgets. Other than the size and weight, what's not to like?

Default Jalopnik GS-F Test Drive

Jalopnik has driven the car and I think the author walked away impressed:

"If I were Audi, BMW, and Mercedes I’d be keeping a close eye on my mirrors, as objects may be closer than they appear. "

About higher HP in relation to sales:
"All of the assembled journalists in Spain could declare that the GS F is the best performance sedan ever and I could say that it lapped Jarama 5 seconds quicker than a McLaren P1 and sales might skyrocket by a whopping 3 cars."

I doubt we'll see a smaller IS-F, e.g. 3500lb V8. We might get a 3600-3700 turbo V6 and I don't want that. I want 8 atmospheric cylinders and Lexus plans to give that to me only in a bigger package...I'll keep my eye out for these.

My thoughts exactly. It will be right around the time the boys need forward facing car seats and the extra leg room will come in handy!

Also, by then there should be headers, exhaust, intakes, all vetted by owners for best performance and lower pricing!
