Actually, non Carbon spec RC F is right at $74,300 MSRP.. (w/Moonroof $1,100)
Carbon Pkg w/ TVD is at $78,300 MSRP (no moonroof)
Last year they made a bunch w/Standalone TVD - which placed it right at $76k w/Moonroof
GS F now with similar Standard / Options is right at $87k MSRP
(Moonroof details to be determined)

The TVD’s bulk robs the back seat of one adult’s worth of headroom, so treats may be necessary to placate even a child assigned to the cramped middle-rear slot.

Those carbon fiber insert on the doors, are those real CF? They look like 3M Dinoc wrap. Hmm.. maybe I should wrap my aluminum trim with that and get the same look.

You're right.. I left off $2000 for Extra optional wheels and Dynamic Radar..
Since the GS F isn't showing up yet for optional parts like that..
Also, will have to see if they will be charging $1,100 for a Moonroof on the GS F
Specs have been released showing w/ Moonroof & without Moonroof
Trying to compare prices with similiar equipment

Unfortunately the price is non-sense. This car is worth at most 10k below the price of a well equipped Audi S6... so ya I think it needs to have a 15k discount to be reasonable.

Below verified on Lexus .com http://www.lexus.com/models/GSF

Simple $85,380 with no ML, no Orange Calipers, no Blue paint
(rare bird)
My bet is that the GS F will mostly come TWO ways for the Western Area / SoCal Market - we are in an ML Market
w/ ML & Black Calipers @ $86,760
w/ ML & Orange Calipers @ $87,060
So basically $86,760 or $87,060
Add in another $595 for Ulrasonic Blue 2.0 paint when applicable

If the press is comparing it to the M5, you know potential buyers will be too, because there's no GS500 badge that slots it in where Lexus intended to be: competition for the 550i and similar models with similar pricing. When the press and the public see the quad exhaust and the F badge, expectations are set that aren't in line with what Lexus has done.
This leaves me wondering where Lexus will go with these F models. Is there an F+ or anything higher up the food chain that will be built SPECIFICALLY to compete with the M3/M5 and AMG cars? Or is the F series going to continue to exist in a confusing void where it falls below the M3/M5 (with appropriate price tags) but fails to match or beat them?
I guess the real question is, will people pay M5 money for a hot GS F. I hope Lexus isn't gauging sales of the GS F to answer that question because the value proposition seems to be kinda poor. Oh well, what do I know.

Wondering if this will compete with the Mercedes C63? I just optioned out one to my liking.
Lunar blue
Stock 18"wheels for comfort
Black red pepper NAPA upholstery
Driver assistance package
Driver Assistance Code, DISTRONIC PLUS w/Steering Assist, BAS PLUS w/Cross Traffic Assist, Collision Mitigation System Rear, PRE-SAFE Plus w/Pedestrian Recognition, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist
AMG performance exhaust
Rear view camera
Illuminated star(Geeky I know)
Linden wild trim
$76k
I declined
Heads up display ($1k. Damn annoying to me)
Amg Super seats($2.5k Very nice looking though)
Manual rear seat window shade ($350)
ALL carbon fiber. Not a fan of it. ($2k option)
The 469-hp 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 with a 4 sec flat 0-60. Not bad
Which is on par with Lexus N/A engine. What do you guys think? Is Lexus trying to compete with the C63 AMG?
