Good luck to anyone that can get this for "invoice" pricing.

Not really understanding why they charge more for the blue mica. I wasn't charged extra for the "Deep Sea Mica"....

$85k is a lot of "Lexus" money but in comparison to it's competitors it's WAY cheaper...however it's quite a bit slower too

CTS-V, E63 or M5 will all eat this car for lunch.

I saw an wrapped Orange one with some aero bits at SEMA 2015 and the car up close does look very nice. The question is will customers shell out nearly $100k for one after taxes?

I think for $50k range it's a really good argument but not at the current price tag. Would still love to drive one for comparison since I had a M5 for the long weekend and it was an amazing ride like a well tailored suit.

+1 most women fall into this category....

My wife said it best - if you want to stand out for sure, buy a McLaren (she loves those cars) and could afford one but prefers her simple cars. We talked about a Tesla for her and she said she loves her CT why have two cars LOL

Your logic makes my head hurt. Someone else already replied so I'm not going to bother.

I'm sure everyone would love to have a GS F for $50k range, but seriously?

A GS F sport is in this price range already.

I like the RC F over the corvette. Much easier to get in & out and just as sexy. Resale pricing will determine real value. Just look at what a used MB, or BMW go for.
20k for more than just a V8.

Big brake kit all around - aftermarket is 5-6k.

Big *** baller wheels - gotta be worth 3k

TVD diff - prob 3-5k

V8 - 5k

Custom interior - 3-5k with sick seats and badass dash

Cool headlights - 1k

The price increase is justified. It's not just a V8, like a GS460. It's definitely modded.

500+ HP instead of a kind of weak for today 467 and the high cost would be talked about much less.

Hmmm...interesting.

Will need to see that in person and see what the fuss is all about.

Should make paint correction from a-holes, door dings, bird droppings, fender benders that much more fun (read impossible).

Well $87,655 with all the possible ADD ONs

or simple $85,380 with no ML, no Orange Calipers, no Blue paint
(rare bird)

My bet is that the GS F will mostly come TWO ways for the Western Area / SoCal Market - we are in an ML Market

w/ ML & Black Calipers @ $86,760

w/ ML & Orange Calipers @ $87,060

So basically $86,760 or $87,060

Add in $595 for USB 2.0 when applicable

i always think the name is quite silly for a reason

and yes since the first time i heard it i was like damn they can't come out with a better name? just like back with the 3gs, they had to name the active sway bar as "****" before they changed it to "apsss" or so

A big part of any "sport sedan" is really the numbers, Lexus wants us to think otherwise but if this car would be around 550+ range, I think it would keep most people at bay on the price, suddenly the $87k will be a bargain!

Just look at the new NSX being so hush hush about it's performance numbers. Once people have determined it makes 550+hp now the car is getting a lot better reviews.

I was just reading an article where the new McLaren 675LT makes nearly 666hp out of a 3.8L V8, granted it's forced induction but WOW. The LF-A at about the same price is pretty anemic in comparison.

I've driven their old flagship the McLaren 12C a few times now and that car is blistering fast. I can only imagine what the 675LT feels like.

The GS-F needs to have the acceleration of the M5 to put it in the big leagues. Right now it's like buying an M5 with an M3 motor in there. No buyer of this class of car wants the same motor under the GS-F as an RC-F owner!
