Default Sport vs Sport +

Hi everyone I have a 2013 GS 350 Premium Trim and was just wondering how different the Sport mode is versus the Sport + mode. Can you tell a huge difference or is it just slightly better? Also does anyone know what the Lateral G's are on the skid pad for the non-F Sport and the F-Sport?

Thanks

Does your Premium Trim have a Sport +?

I have a Luxury Pachage 2014 and there are several very noticeable differences. There steering gets much heavier, the ride gets much stiffer, and the transmission holds lower the gears more.

It just has Sport but wanted to know the difference because I love the way my car handles. I would say it even handles better then the Nissan 300ZX I use to own.

The difference in my '13 was just the suspension. Both sport and sport + have the transmission and revs more aggressive

Cars without the Sport+ mode still tighten the steering, however it is done in the Sport mode whereas cars with both Sport and Sport+ modes the steering is not tightened until Sport+ is chosen. Beyond that, the only difference between cars with Sport and Sport+ modes is the stiffening of the suspension.

Engine throttle and transmission shifting parameters are exactly the same in all GS 350 cars when the Sport mode is chosen.

Note: This is the case for all cars without Dynamic Rear Steering (DRS) and Variable Gear Ratio Steering (VGRS), both options being rare on the GS 350.

FYI, if you can't feel the difference between Sport and Sport +, you need to drive faster!

Also make sure to floor the pedal past what you feel is normal. It accelerates even faster than usual!

The sport plus mode definitely shifts differently than sport on mine, and the steering is definitely stiffer.

On my car the only chance between s and s+ is the steering and suspension

It will shift faster if you have a 14+ model since those are 8 speed. I know my 13 just asked to be revved hard when in sport mode
