Be warned, the following video may just cause you go out and buy a GS F. So if you can't afford one, maybe you shouldn't watch it.

That 5.0L sound is very addicting. Drove the RCF and I didn't wanna give it back.

Disappointed that the GSF has Active Sound Control, which seems like it pumps engine sounds through the speakers. Hated it when I saw it in BMW, hate it now in Lexus. Why play a fake engine soundtrack when the V8 already sounds good...definitely not needed. If I had this car, I'd probably find a way to unplug it.

Does it pump artificial sounds into the cabin or is it actual sounds from the V8 engine getting routed through the speakers? I think I would be okay with the latter.

Pretty sure it's fake sounds played through speakers. There's no way they can get real engine sounds into the rear speakers, and speakers imply some kind of artificial recording being played. Just a useless feature that makes the cabin more noisy and make the driver feel like he/she is going faster.
"The new Active Sound Control (ASC) achieves a more powerful engine sound in the cabin space through the addition of internal rear speakers that modify the engine sound created during acceleration or deceleration."

I think the RCF also has this cause if ur in Normal/Eco it's more quiet but if ur in Sport/+ it sounds louder. I don't know if the sound is coming from the speakers or it opens up another intake valve but the sound feels so real. But even when revving in neutral that V8 sounds good.

I love everything EXCEPT the front grill (Still don't like Spindle) and the rear tail lights (if there's a way to put regular GS tail lights on it from the GS350) and not too happy about the Fake Engine sounds (will find a way to unplug that)..

active sound is when the stereo volume of music adjusts, the faster you go, the louder the music.

What I do notice, if you view it from the side, that there isn't much curve in the mid section... it's all straight and bulbous. The front has styling, the rear has some curves...the midddle not so much.
