I think some of the features are great and also about time, but the high beam assist is really unless your mostly in the country side or where there is more roads empty with darkness. I have it on the X5 and I try to use it but usually ends up staying off cause to many cars pop out.

^^Really? I have auto high beams on my Grand Cherokee and they work very well. Although it doesn't pick up tail lights sometimes so I have to turn them off myself.

Mine picks up taillights but it just doesn't work that great to me, maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Gadgets and features can make you a somewhat safer driver.

I don't think bad drivers can change. People who don't signal, ignore stop signs, change lanes constantly only to be next to you a mile down the road will still be bad drivers.

I guess it can help, but my wife witnessed a lady back into another car in a parking lot and when the aggrieved driver knocked on her window her response was "That's impossible, my car never beeped and it beeps if I am close to hitting anyone!" Took the police to convince her that the paint on her bumper was off the dented car behind her.
