I tested it. Got to read the sensors before it got the error.

Now I downloaded the update and the TPMS option is gone????

That's because we're pushing out a new update to the app that won't contain the TPMS functionality (since it's not ready), and we need to test out this update before releasing it officially. After that's released (in about a week, hopefully), the TOOLS section will come back in the beta, incl. the TPMS functionality. We still haven't gotten around the problem with storing TPMS sensor data that we had before though. So at this time there's nothing new to test in terms of TPMS. Thanks for your patience.

Strange the program wasn't able to write to the sensors, as it worked perfectly on my CND 2014 GS350 Tech.
Now that I have the codes for both sets of wheels no more going to the dealer for that simply task.

Side note:
We have a new Toyota dealer in the city I live in. They love the GS so much they only charged me $28 to switch wheels, program sensors and purge and refill the winter tires with N2. Everyone in the shop is going over the car telling me how gorgeous it is Yup she's a beauty but you must drive one to really appreciate it, we should get a Lexus dealer in our city so I don't have to drive 200 miles for warranty/service work.

Hey 99alta

Do you mean you are able to switch codes yourself, using carista or other? My dealer hasn't charged me yet, I have him switch codes when I get my spring or fall oil change. I have the Carista app and would like to be able to do this myself.

is there another device we can purchase (for a reasonable about of money) to get do this. i've having an issue with my ES right now and am concerned that when i put my summer rims on my GS i'll have the same issues.

I was considering either Carista or this:

If you have saved your hexadecimal codes for each wheel(I've sent myself emails from the app to keep track of summer/winter set codes), then yes just enter them into the Carista app and save to Ecu. I tested it out a few times in Oct. and worked fine. I used the Android version of the app.
I don't know why it hasn't worked for others though ?
