We have a 2016 RX350 and 2015 GS350 in the garage. Completely different cars; there is huge difference between FWD and RWD. If you value handling and sportiness with some practicality, then the GS is the way to go. If you value comfort and versatility with more practicality, then the RX is the way to go.

Congrats new 2016 GS owners! The more I see the new look, the more I like it...might have to change again after my lease

No kidding. I can't believe current GS F Sport owners are ragging on owners with '16 models. As my mama used to say, "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all". If you really think your '13-'15 models look better then just shut up. You are all GS drivers. This is not the Republican Party.

I like the new '16. It's more aggressive looking.

Fact of the matter is that when a refresh of a car that you love and have poured time into comes out it will sometimes take time for it to grow on you. I experienced this when my 350z was replaced by the 370z (still hate the non nismo frontend). When I saw the 2014 IS350 in pictures I thought it looked awful, but after seeing it in the metal I went to Lexus and leased one immediately. I loved the look of the 13-15 GS with the exception of the fSport front bumper, as I wished they had gone further to match the is spindle grill. Though I still prefer the old headlights.i think the fSport front bumper has improved significantly, so to each there own.

I absolutely love mine. Once it is lowered and has some lighter wheels it will be perfect.

Will have to see more driving down the road, but I think the refresh makes the GS look like the 2016 ES as it approaches you.

I love the refresh, everything about the newer GS is better. Taillights I'm kinda iffy on but I think it'll grow on me. Picking up my 16 tomorrow!

It's interesting to read the comments from so many years ago when the refresh first came out. It looks like most people hated it but now we've all warmed to it (or they've all moved on from the GS).

Personally I think it's the best looking Lexus front end with the L Finesse design language BEFORE they started merging the DRL with headlights.

Originally, I did not like the look of the 2016 first released in 2015 for the then forthcoming GS F, so I quickly grabbed a 2015 before it was discontinued.
However, now I wish I had waited till late 2015 to purchase the 2016.

Early on, I did not like the non-flush fitting clear plastic cover over the taillights of 2016, because it did not look as smooth as the original styling.
However over time, I prefer the 2016 more thanks to the additional rear chrome work which looks more upmarket.
The 2016 has more laser weld joints for greater stiffness yet rides on softer springs too.
