No, all GS models have the sound generator. Only the F Sport LS has it in the LS line.

It's funny how we go to K&N now for quietness and stay stock for more sound. It used to be the other way around.
With the aftermarket K&N intake, is it any quieter at idle, or any quieter if your loping around softly and leisurely?
Any quieter on cruising at 40 or 60 mph?

Or is it only quieter on wide open throttle openings?
Just that I don't use wide open throttle much anymore.

I've heard two different things from the dealership. They told me about a month ago that the cars are sitting at the dock and the dealerships have to get rid of the 2015s before they can roll out the 2016s. This weekend, another salesman told me it's because of the other models. RC and IS both got 200t versions, the new RX came out, etc. GS is going to end up being the last one the rolls out. At this point, what they are saying i'm taking it with a grain of salt.

Local dealer sent me a screenshot of the cars coming in. Said silver/black/white are typically first ones made. He's got about 8 on his first allocation, but there is no pricing on the cars. Not sure when they will arrive, which sucks, because my lease ends on Jan 1, and I want a new one as the replacement. Well, I want a GS-F, but not paying Viper pricing for one.

I really wish I had picked up a 2015 Crafted Line... now they're impossible to find. I love the more aggressive look of the 2015 as opposed to the manta ray front grille.
Looks like the official Lexus website got updated with some new pics and options and pricing (I'm sure someone already posted it, http://www.lexus.com/models/GS ), even though the "Build Your Lexus" link still takes you to the 2015 models, and I'm not sold. Too bad, my 2006 Avalon needs replacing with a sportier car, and an LS is out of my budget.

Some dealers are going to be waiting a LONG time. My local dealer has many, many 15's left to sell. This is going to take awhile.

It is quieter at WOT. No difference at idle or tooling around the city. If you want it to be quieter, then definitely either remove the sound generator or install the K&N intake.

Again no triple LEDs in any of the packages nor as stand alone option either. Lexus USA ...

Also why are the packages for 200t model so outrageously expensive? Close to eight grand for F-Sport package? And then $1,500 for Premium package and another $1,730 for Navigation package. Oh and add additional $400 for standard 18'' wheels.

So if we do the math the real difference between 200t and 350 is whopping $755! Oh boy ... hey but you do get 2MPG in the city

The FSport pack for my 2014 was $10K more I think and resale/trade in value is zero. FSport and non-FSport trade value is the same.

F-sport includes the feature for premium package already, and why would you add wheels when the F-sport already includes 19" wheels.

I think the build tool on the website is still working out the bugs. I wish Lexus had a better built tool.

that's the case for most cars anyway, a lot of the options add next to no value on trade-in. there is nothing new

The highest LSS+ package ($1795) says it adds "triple beam headlamps".

Are the stock headlights HID or LED now for the 2016? The IS and RC have LED headlights but the non triple beams.
