Which one you liked your GS or RC? Which dealer you went to?

Lexus of Oxnard. For comfort and refinement, GS no doubt. The RC isn't as refined as the GS and the seats are smaller so ur back always feels tight, not that great for long drives. But I'm willing to compromise that for the V8 RCF.
Man I tell u, those cars aren't selling well at all. They're all been sitting on the lot for months, the dealer plates are yellowing on them already and the RC350 I drove had 600+ mileage already from other test drives. Those cars aren't moving at all. They still have lots of 2015 GS on the lot too, maybe this is why they're delaying the 2016 for so long.

Yea, u won't get that number with the 2016. They are really pushing the prices on 2015 right now. The RC I believe they're willing to go 2-3K+ below invoice, so I'm sure they're willing to do the same with the leftover GS. I was the only one looking at cars at the dealer yesterday, sales are slow.

Everything combined my 15 f sport was about 10k off msrp. But there was 2300 cash lease available at time. Not sure if that's still available. Got mine about 2 months ago. You certainly can get excellent deals on 15 now.

MSRP is not a good measure as it is too high. I hope for invoice - $6,000, and available for special financing rate, not a cash deal. This is, of course, in Canada and we have a recession, and for a car that is unpopular for some reason.

I think this sounds a little extreme, but Lexus Canada now offers $6,000 cash.
With the RC-F, they are offering $10,000 with 1.9% lease, and dealerships are now willing to let them go at near invoice before incentives. (I am even thinking of driving a winter beater and a get a RC-F for the price of a top spec GS.)
The 5 Lexus dealers around me have sold ZERO new GS's in the last 4 months. Heck, they still have leftovers 2014 GS and LS. Big Lexus luxury cars don't sell well here during the good times, let along the bad times.
Now, time is tough here with mass layoffs and cuts, tax hikes etc. Even if I am financially ok, I am not sure if I should get a new car because of optics. I am pretty sure many people feel the same and are holding out. Maybe it is a Canadian thing, but I am embarrassed when people think I do well financially, so I am concerned about getting a new car during a recession. However, with the recession and a redesign, I think next month is the optimal time to buy, and if not, the month after.

That's my payment now and my car is almost 2 years old. Only thing I did $800 down and not $0. Everything else is the same.
