Yep, and don't kid yourself, this was planned in 2012. Lexus comes out with a big nav screen, but holds off displaying entire screen map. Instead they hold it back until a mid-cycle upgrade. Lexus could upgrade the OS on current models to have full screen nav if they wanted to.

I think I'm going to need time to take in the new refresh. I love the interior changes, I just don't know how I feel about the front end. Like others have said, looks more Camry now then GS.

Allowing the NAV & other features (i.e. playing a DVD) to expand across the entire 12 inch screen should have been implemented from the get go. Senseless to restrict that and it could easily be allowed if Lexus would take put out a software update for current 4G vehicle owners. But we all know they don't care much for technology, so I don't ever see that coming.

Also, the tri-LED from the GS hybrid should be optional for all the Lexus' premium cars (GS line, LS line, etc). It makes the car look much better (imho) and provides amazing performance. LED headlamps are quite common (either optional or standard) across the $50K+ luxury segment.

Not a fan that Toyota's "look" is sort of blending with those of Lexus (even more apparent now).

Anyone else notice the abysmal average mpg on the cluster display in the video of the GS200t? I thought fuel economy was suppose to be improved in a smaller engine

There is no replacement for displacement.

In my case you have to imagine a big ugly California license plate in the middle of that gaping mouth as well. The current design deals with that fairly well, but the full spindle grill has the same problem as current Audis with license plates.

It'll look great with a huge mustache in the next Pixar Cars movie, though.

And our plates are white so it'll POP even more.

Putting a turbo charged 4 cyl in a larger heavier car almost never really works out. The 4 cyl turbo in the Mustang gets worse fuel economy then the 6 cylinder, the 4 cyl turbo in the Acura RDX got worse fuel economy then the higher hp quicker V6, there are other models where the 4 cylinders get worse fuel economy then the 6 cylinders they replace.

This is a sad trend sticking 4 cylinders in larger heavier cars they are not suited for for no real benefit in the real world.

What's even more sad is Lexus mocked BMW for putting a 4 cyl in the 5 Series and now they're doing the exact same thing to the GS. Maybe the LS will get a 4 cyl engine too next.

The car has 213 miles on it. Barely driven except to and from photoshoot sites. Gotta break it in for a more accurate readout. I have no doubt individuals can achieve the advertised numbers

That's right! I forgot about this commercial.

It's never good to do commercials like this...you just end up with egg on your face.
