Default 2013 F Sport price question

Hi Guys.
There's a 2013 F sport that im looking at in my area [Texas] , and the seller is asking for 41k out the door. The car has 18k miles and a slight dent on the front bumper which he said he would fix [It needs to be straightened out a little bit] before i buy it.
I checked the service history and carfax and everything seems to check out, but since the dealer is NOT a lexus dealer i was wondering if there are other things i need to look out for or should i just get a 2014 ??

Thanks in advance

Care to provide information on who has the car? Some of us here can find out a whole lot about a car when we can identify it.

18k miles?? that is cheap. Before i bought my GS 2 weeks ago. All the F Sport were going for 35,000+ with 55k+ miles. 41k with 18K miles is cheap unless that front hit says other wise

I found the car HERE. I could not find anything unusual or questionable about the car. However, I question a couple of things: (1) How/why Southwest Auto Center acquired this car instead of a Lexus dealership where such a car would most likely be returned from a lease or traded-in for another car at a Lexus dealership or some other new car dealership. And (2), the price is listed as $38,995 so I am assuming the out-the-door price of $41k has a slight discount but includes the sales tax, document and title fees. I personally do not think the car is priced low enough compared to other similarly equipped GS 350 F-Sport cars that are Lexus CPO cars.

For example, HERE is a 2013 GS 350 F-Sport with Mark Levinson with only 7,224 miles that is a Lexus CPO car from a major Lexus dealership in the Dallas area priced at $41,900. I suspect this car could be bought for around $37.5K - $39K.

Do you mean $37.5k -$39k out the door?

Hmmm..that would put the car at 34- 35k before taxes, it's already about 38k as it is without the taxes.
I dunno if GS350 f sports' are that cheap anywhere, If he agrees to the offer i would become highly suspicious of the car at that price. The CPO at lexus only cost about $900 dollars according to them, so i dont think the lack of it should make it that cheap, plus its still under manufacturers warranty as it is.
I'll try, and see what he says

You said the other car was $41K out-the-door from a used car dealer.

Question: Would you buy the Lexus certified CPO car for the same $41K out-the-door price? It has the same equipment, less than half the mileage and no dent in the fender, and would be sold by a Lexus dealership that received a 161 point inspection to qualify for CPO status, includes a 3 year/100,000 mile total vehicle Lexus warranty, 6 months of free SiriusXM, Lexus 24/7 Roadside Assistance, and provides the owner with the confident knowledge that a Lexus dealership sold you the car instead of some unknown used car dealer that often buys inventory at auctions or vehicles that dealerships do not want for whatever the reason...

This ^^^^^^^^^^^

Fwiw I got a 13 cpo with 25k miles awd for 42k, last year. Down from asking of 48k.

I'd go with a Lexus dealer with higher mileage, just for peace of mind.

Yes i would, but i dont think the lexus dealer would be willing to sell it for 41k out the door like the used car dealer

The CPO car at the Lexus dealership has fewer miles (7,224 miles versus 18,000 miles).

Yes!! Hustle them to their last drop, the dealer wont lose money at the end.

My GS was 34,998 before TTL, I walked out 32 FLAT with TTL
