Default OEM 20s

Anyone else wish Lexis made a nice OEM 20 inch wheel? BMW and Mercedes have a nice selection for those who wish to upgrade and maintain OEM quality. I have been riding aftermarket rims for the past 15 years from 18s to 20s on my Pontiacs and Lexuses and am getting tired of the bends from potholes on these NJ rodes. Just wish their were some options, the only 20 inch rim is off the LX I believe. I currently ride my 20 inch Lorenzos in the summer and have my 19 in f sport rims for winter.

the lx 20" won't fit on the gs. lfa wheels are probably a little too expensive

other than that i don't think there are 20 oem wheels from lexus

The only other OEM 20s I know of are off of the Venza.

I'm curious as to why you feel OEM 20s would not bend when your aftermarket 20s bend?

A lot of aftermarket wheels are way better quality than OEM wheels.

From just my experience, the OEM rims are made much much stronger than after rims unless the rims are forged which is probably like 4-5k with tires. I had stock 19's and 20s on my wife''s bimmers over the years and those rims took pot holes with no bends, however, my aftermarket Lorenzos and Lexani''s bent over time.

i don't want to say much but in short, quality counts.

try some quality one piece or two piece work or volk wheels, they are super strong

Thanks! I agree quality definitely counts, one question, are all OEM rims forged?

No. Very few OEM rims are forged. The only forged options on the GS are the dealer accessory 19" forged F Sport wheels (two designs).
