Default Sport Plus Mode

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a gs350 fsport. It is my understanding that the Sport + mode somehow stiffens the suspension and keeps the car in a lower gear a little longer.

For those that have aftermarket springs or coilovers, does the car lose the Sport + functionality when you change the suspension?

I have tried searching. Any help would be appreciated.

After Market springs do not affect the Sport+ setting and your AVS will still work. Coil overs on the other hand will be affected, because the AVS will no longer work. Due to the AVS shocks being replaced by coil over shocks. Throttle sensitivity and transmission shifting will not be affected by any suspension change and should function normally when put on Eco, Sport, and Sport+. Hope this helps.

J5 makes AVS compatible coilovers for the 4GS. http://www.j5usa.com/shop/2013-lexus-gs-350-fsport-awd
