save on spark plugs + cabin air filters
I tried buying cabin air filters on lexus parts world and there doesn't seem to be an option for non-charcoal versions if you want OEM. I remember sewell lexus let me choose for my old ES300.
I went around and found the non-charcoal version from DENSOproducts.com
cabin air filter SKU: #453-1019 ($10.67 which is less than 1/3 price of OEM charcoal version)
Since we are at it, why not order the DENSO spark plugs too?
Denso 4705 IKBH20TT Iridium TT Spark Plug
SKU: #IKBH20TT $7.79 (OEM is around $14 after discount)
I believe these two parts are definitely OEM spec replacements without forcing you to pay the toyota brand trademark tax
Too bad DENSO does not produce the engine air filter for 4GS. Anyone knows the direct OE replacement for engine air filter?
UPDATE: the spark plug is not a direct replacement for our spark plug. The original OEM replacement from DENSO costs $14.70 SKU: #FK20HBR11 so lexus parts world is still cheaper. However I will have no reservations using the IKBH20TT for my car when replacement come. Even though they are rated for 100k miles I will still change them at 60k miles. You can see discussion of the new spark plug here.

Does that cabin filter fit the 4GS? That's a good price! Yea I don't need charcoal either.
K&N makes a direct replacement engine filter but it's expensive and a hassle having to clean it. I'd rather buy regular filter throw it away when gets dirty.

Well Denso is the one who makes most if not all Toyota parts anyway so if we can buy direct and not pay for dealer markups it'll be gold.

Not trying to promote k&n, but used them for years...not hard to maintain at all....
