2016 GS350 ----- NOt GS-F
how is it possible that we are a week into to July and still no pictures or information?
all those who said the 2016 would be on dealer lots by August can't be correct, if that was true the cars would be on the water by now

Not in August for sure, maybe more towards the end of the year. Even the new ES pics are leaking already. Maybe the GS will be the same again.

Before I got my 2015 Fsport I was originally waiting for the 2016 refresh. There's no absolute pictures or leaks anywhere in the web. All I know it will look similar to the upcoming GSF with a full spindle grill. I decided not to wait because honestly I don't like the full spindle grill look. Plus nowadays the new Camry and Corolla has a full black grill. Don't want my car to look or associate anything like it. I know I posted some pictures of my car last week with the blacked out middle part of the bumper with black satin vinyl and you may thing i'm a hypocrite. All I'm saying the blacked out vinyl has been removed because I didn't like the look of it and It reminds me of a camry or corolla out there. .

I'm also anxiously waiting for the GS refresh as I have a little over 6 months left on my 535i lease.
Huge difference between BMW and Lexus.
On BMW forums - they have insider knowledge of stuff coming down 2yrs down the road and usually "leaked" pics show up months before as well as specs, options etc. I think this helps to have the car enthusiast community engaged and build up "hype". Besides people that post, there are many folks just browsing forums for info.
Lexus is way too secretive - sometimes to its own detriment imo.

Not sure if this helps any, but we don't start production on the 2016 ES until late September early October, as of right now. Would have been earlier but the dock strikes in CA earlier this year pushed it back. And the new ES has the larger front grille like the IS and RC have now.

I too am surprised we have not seen the refresh GS, especially when we saw the refresh ES. Both should be on sale in September.
