Not a one GS at the Dealership.
Was at the dealer today and there were no GS's on the lot for sale. There was only 1 LS. On there other side there were 20 to 30 RX's, 15 to 20 ES's, 10 to 15 RC350's and 1 RC-F. There were some IS's but did not see many. I was surprised. Personally, since I believe the GS and LS are the best of their line up (yes I know they are also towards the most expensive) but none?

Pole Position
I'm not too surprised. I think the GS and LS have the lowest production numbers of all the Lexus sedans. The RX and ES are the most popular.
Maybe they will have more once the 2016 GS comes out.

The fewer GS on the road the better for us.

Here in the Dallas we have three Lexus dealerships and they seem to have a good number of both new and used GS 350s c/o: 147 New GS 350s & 39 Used GS 350s.

With those numbers in Texas, you folks must love them down there.

There's a lot of GS 350s around Dallas, but there's a lot of high-end cars of all types here. I didn't include the Fort Worth dealership in my numbers, but maybe should have. We have 6.5 million population in the Metroplex, so take that into consideration.

2015 GS sales YTD: 9,499
2015 ES sales YTD: 24,299
2015 RX sales YTD: 37,046
These don't include the month of june. That's just January through May 2015. That's why there are so many ES and RXs on the lot.

Lexus is nervous to overproduce the GS, seeing as how they didn't sell any third gen ones. I doubt there are hordes of customers beating down the dealership doors for the current model. They overpromoted, overpromised, and browbeat the buff books into saying nice things about the GS for once. But it has a carryover powertrain that is nearly 10 years old and the styling is just meh compared to the the 3rd gen. Still no compelling reason to get one over a 5 series, E Class, or A6.

Sadly, as an owner of one of the the 2006 GS 300 carbon queen specials, I am not benefitting from the vaunted Lexus quality.
