LED light for trunk - warm or cool white
Just got my 2013 GS350 and love it. One thing that bugs me is the light in the trunk. I want replace it with an LED. I'm sure others have already. Trying to decide between warm and cool white. Any suggestions? Looking at a flat board with the LED lights on it from Diode Dynamics.
Thanks!

I agree with you on the trunk light. I had a '11 IS350 and changed the trunk bulb to an LED strip. Last month I traded it for a '13 GS350 and bought an LED strip from iJDMToy. I recommend the 6k color or a cooler white color. The reason being since the entire trunk interior is black, i find the cooler white/blue looks a bit more modern and helps light up all the corners. Otherwise, go with the warm white for a more stock, traditional lighting look.
The VLED 5k output in the previous poster's link is a great balance between a pure white with maybe a slight hint of blue.

I went with the Warm White and think it is perfect. In my opinion, too blue and it just doesn't look right. Changing to LED makes all the difference in the world!

Thanks for the input. Definitely need to do something. It's strange they put LED lighting elsewhere in the car and the trunk barely gets lit up with the stock bulb.
