Default Vossen CV3-R's installed (finally)!

Ordered in January and they just hit the Vossen warehouse on June 5th....my patience was rewarded with (imho) a sick set of wheels. They call these CV3R's, I'm guessing the "R" stands for "refresh" because that's what they did to them, design looks the same but they have a slightly glossy finish instead of flat and they added the "Vossen" name to the outer lip.

Here are the Specs:

2015 F-Sport (RWD)
Tanabe 210 springs

Wheels: Vossen CV3R
20x8.5 ET38 front
20x10 ET45 rear (I didn't get the 20x10.5 because I don't like the stretched out look)

Tires: Continental ExtremeContact DWS
245/35/20
275/30/30

*I will not be answering "Wheel Price" questions so please don't ask.

I just got them installed yesterday so I haven't had a chance to take some quality pics, these are all I have for now.

I just drove about 150 miles on them today and they are SOLID wheels! No strange vibrations, no rubbing anywhere (I took a few large speed bumps at speed). I'm very happy with the fit and finish and the overall look. I bought this car with the sole intention of getting CV3's. I also must say, Vossen boxes these wheels for shipping better than anything I've ever seen. I was as impressed with the care taken to box these wheels as I was when I saw the actual wheels!

Peace,
Jason

looks great!
i thought they were a bronze color, looking at the first pic(must be reflection)

being you went with 10's in the rear, you could prob get away with a wider tire and really make it look beefy
either way... looks niiice

Haha...yeah...it does look bronze. You're correct, reflection from the pavers in my driveway.

Thanks, it's beefy enough for me. After I wear these tires out, I might try something different.

My Vossen Rep told me that they are only offering sets of CV3R's for our cars in:

20x8.5 - 20x10
OR
20x9 - 20x10.5

I told him I wanted 20x9 - 20x10 and he said he couldn't sell a set like that of these wheels. I have no idea why? I didn't press the issue, it was only a 1/2" in the front so I got what I got to avoid the stretched out look on a 10.5 rear wheel.

Peace,
Jason

The universe gave me a nice "F" you this morning! I get in my car to go to work and my TPS monitor says my right rear tire is 6lbs lower than the other three tires. The tires are 4 days old and I pick up a damn staple!!!

Why does it seem like brand new tires always find sharp objects

Thankfully, I have Road Hazard protection from Tire Rack, took it to two shops and both said it's too close to the sidewall for a safe patch job. Tire Rack is sending me a free replacment

Peace,

Jason

Thats not what i said, its just wasteful assuming that this tire will be discarded when its not irreparable..
