Default new GS350 f-sport owner! black on black

Hi all, long time Lexus owner here. Owned a 2nd gen white GS400, back RX400h, and now a 2013 GS350 F-sport, black with dark gray 19" wheels. Don't have a picture yet but looks basically like the picture below. My car has DRS, would anyone be interested in videos of it in action? I want to verify its there, it seemed dealer wasn't aware of the option being I'm the car (its used). BTW saw intro thread, feel free to move post mods.

Wanted to say hi to this group! Some thoughts:

1. Car was received with near 39psi. Rougher ride. Lowered to 34psi cold (70f, I'm in LA), much more comfortable but warning light for pressure came on. Solved by holding button to reset to lower psi under dash.

2. Will install lightweight battery, save maybe 20-30 pounds.

3. Considering lighter wheels, stock wheel/tire combo is 60+ pounds each! Any suggestions? Also, should I reuse tons sensors? Or leave them in for easier resale of stock tire/wheel?

4. Like sport+, I can feel a difference. Normal/sport/Eco, car is more floaty, it takes longer for suspension to settle after a bump. In sport+, still comfortable but suspension feels tighter.

5. I wish there were some performance mods for this car!!

Not my actual car but looks the same.

The GS is a great ca and this limited edition proves it. But It is the same car no matter what calipers or color they add (Which can easily be replicated in aftermarket parts) . It has been the same car since 2013. Only cosmetics things here and there in order to milk it a little more. Some could argue that the 15 models are the best F Sports ever made, but the reality of the matter is that all these F Sports are pretty much the same. Based on sales alone, the current limited edition would have not sold any better than previous years which explains a limited number being made. Simple upgrades in techs and a small HP boost for have done it for many consumers, but typical of Lexus, they decided to look the other way and so did the consumer.

I agree they should have given the car just a couple of extra upgrades, some new tech and a little bit more hp would have gone a long way. But with that being said, I don't know what they did, but my 2020 feels a lot different than my 2018 did. Feels A LOT smoother and the response in better with acceleration, feels faster and more agile and also seems to brake better and my wife told me the same thing when she drove it the other day. I don't know if the LSD would make much of a difference in how it feels but I can tell you I like the 2020 much better than my old 2018, I had a 2015 as well and the 2020 feels better than the 2015 which I liked better than the 2018..... jeeesh that was almost a tongue twister lol

Slash.... Enjoy the car, it is indeed a timeless beauty even after all these years. I have yet to drive it and probably will never get a chance due to its limited release and this crazy world that we are living in. I have the 15 model F Sport and one of my neighbors down the street has the 19 version. We have driven each other cars and our perspective is the same. Both cars are pretty much the same other than the few cosmetic changes. I have since changed to a different tire and the ride is better than before. It is just amazing to me that in 8 years, these guys could not figure out how to add something as simple as Apple Car Play and somewhat redesign the mouse pad and upgrade the tech. But then again, why should I be surprised? Just looking at the upcoming "new" IS, Lexus really has no clue. ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The brand is living alone on reputation and reliability which is why we are all hooked. But the Koreans are proving to be very good at what they do. Innovation and Design as well as reliability. Mercedes (not a fan, but plenty of people are) is probably the best with technology. Lexus continues to insist that none of this matters.
