Default Alert to future GS buyers

My day at work is slow and I happened to browse some GS350s for sale at ebay. What initially caught my eye was this GS F Sport "Appearance Package" on sale for $33,000 and thought that was very cheap until I saw the details with my eagle current GS owner eyes. (this is lame, I know) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-GS-F-Sport-App-Gs-350-F-Sport-Package-/301556918412?forcerrptr=true&hash=item463631688c&item=301556918412&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
This has no nav, no heated/vent seats, has 18 inch chrome wheel and only has f sport front bumper/badge and the seller calls it "F Sport Appearance package." So deceptive and misleading. Also no power folding mirrors and for some reason it idles at almost 1K RPM and the engine is warm enough which probably means that it wasn't repaired correctly.

Didn't know what front end damage meant, so i searched for the before picture of this exact car and here it is. http://www.autogeria.com/vehicle/index/24905 seems like the front end suffered some serious damage.

Just alerting some of the future buyers out there.

Hard to believe it wasn't totaled with all that damage!

i think the car is branded as salvaged and the seller probably bought it from the junkyard, repaired, drove it for a while and now selling for profit.

Yikes. It doesn't look like the airbags deployed.

Maybe the car was parked, cause I'm sitting here trying to figure out how the airbags didn't deploy.

Yeah it's missing several features standard for f sport. As for the idling. It depends on when he took the pic as to what the car would show the rpm are for idling. My car starts at 1,200 rpm drops to 1,000 and then sits at 800 rpm.

It's just a base model GS with an FSport front bumper conversion like the one sold by Sewell (RIP) and FSport badges, nothing more.

No nav, no heated seats, no Sport+, no rear shade, no auto folding mirrors, nothing. Just look at the screen, it's small and comes with the regular upper grille and 18" wheels.

It's a rare GS without navigation, with F-sport bumper/badge and wood trim. LOL

In my view that car is trash - just a piece of junk.

Car flipping is common. It takes a keen eye to spot a car that was flipped.

Car flip shows are popular too.

This thing is worth a cool $12,000 smh. Side note... Lexus couldn't get rid of the damn pedestal that the nav icon sits on? Just screaming in owners' face that they're losers who don't have nav lol. That's worse to than the numerous button blanks IMO.

This guy is a well known salvage dealer here in Utah, they buy them from the insurance auctions and slap on new bumpers and sell them as "branded title"

The work is pretty shoddy from what I've seen in the past.

So I guess it's a good thing that they removed the screen from my base CT altogether, no need to remind me that my car is Nav-Less. But the BT pairing on that car is horrible! Super complicated but once paired it works good.
