Our Lexus Family Just Got Bigger...
A lot of people left the GS and Lexus family lately... But not me! Hell no!
I just picked up a new 2015 CTh for my daily cruiser and got rid of my 2014 Accord, that thing was one noisy car! And since the CT forum is pretty much dry, I'll just post it here along with the latest pics of my GS. The GS is so not photogenic and took me a few tries to get a decent set of pics. Everything just looks better in person.
And a better pic of the new emblem.
And the CT.

Congrats CT is an awesome car. My fiancee use to have one. Handling and gas is great, but i wish it was less noisy when you turn off the hybrid mode. once you press on the gas you hear the engine working hard lol

I'm constantly getting 40 MPG but I've seen it at 50 MPG. GS only gets 18 MPG. lol
This car handles really good actually, almost feels like an IS, except the lag of power. It takes turns tightly not loose like the Prius. But man the GS just blows everything out of the water. lol
And it does have a sport mode and it does help a bit in acceleration and that's about it. I got the base model with only backup cam.

Back seat is ok for kids. Its surprisingly roomy everywhere except the trunk. I had a white 2013 with the pop up nav. Highest I got was 52 mpg over a 5,000 period. But that was alot of babying the car and taking side streets. Sport mode makes it feel peppy off the line. Peppy enough for the side streets and hole shots. Longer stretches will require pushing the engine and its just not designed for it. Handling was one of its strong points. Very sporty in the corners.
BTW. First thing you should do is disconnect the space ship sound maker speaker. Just unplug it.
Forgot to add... it runs on 87 oct. so you get that added benefit in addition to the mpg.

Congrats! I haven't driven a refreshed CT, but I had a CT as a loaner once and absolutely hated it. I'm interested in your opinions over time.

Congrats on the addition ItzFilyO.
I'm generally not a far of hatchbacks too much, but I actually like the styling of the CTh. Loved that you have matching rides too!
Enjoy the new hybrid!

This car gets tailgated a lot, I mean damn!!! Everybody's on my *** the whole time even when ur already driving over the limit. This and the Prius. lol
In the GS, it's quite the opposite, I can hardly see anybody in my mirror even when driving slow.
But build quality is excellent, u get that expensive Lexus feel inside. Just don't compare it to the GS.
Oh I got it down to $30,400 before taxes, MSRP was $34K something. It's a lease too for 36 months cause I don't want to keep it when the hybrid system starts to go bad. $300/mo including tax with zero down and 10K miles a year.

lol. One time in the CT when I was driving in Santa Ana, a mid 70's grandpa with his wife in a Durango high beamed me like crazy as we went across the intersection off a red light. Then he proceeded to flip me the bird as he passed. What was great was he tried to cut me off but got caught up in traffic and almost ended up rear ending the car in front of him.
