Some Pandora questions...
I have a 2013 with nav. I use pandora exclusively for music...
Is there any way to just keep enform running on my iphone so that my car doesn't complain about it not running every single time I get in?
Is there any way to change the pandora station from the wheel or somewhere, other than to go to apps, go to pandora, click on to that, wait for it to load, hit back arrow, then choose another station and then click into that?

Enform seems to have an oddball bug which is causing this issue. Before the last upgrade, I would be rock solid on connecting. The one before that, I would get intermittent drops. This last update brought back the dropped Enform connection issue. This is for the Android App by the way.
Your description seems to indicate a drop of Enform connectivity EVERY time. I would say that I encounter it maybe every 15 to 20 connections. You might want to consider uninstalling/reinstalling enform on your phone as a first thing to try.

To clarify...
I am using an iPhone 6 and if I start enform within an hour or so before getting into the car, it always connects. However, if I haven't manually started it (say overnight) it never connects and I have to manually start the app first on the phone. Is that normal?

I second that it might be an iOS issue. No setting to allow Background App Refresh so I assume once it times out there is no ability for the car to wake it. The app developer should be able to correct this.

I'm interested in using Pandora it's great but always was worried or concerned on data charges, should I be worried?

Yes I would be worried. Check your data on a daily/weekly basis if you're streaming often. If you stream more than a couple hours per week in your car you may want to up that data plan.
