Default Wheel Vibration - Aftermarket Rims

Hello,
I recently purchased the rims (below) from another member here on Club Lexus.
Ever since installation, I have been experiencing a vibration at highway speeds and while braking. The wheels are correctly balanced.
My technician has told me that I need to buy a hub ring/spacer (not too sure what that is) but nonetheless, a grommet of such that fits between the backside of the rim and the frontside of the hub. I'm not too sure where to begin from there or what to even look for. If anyone knows of a solution to my problem that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, u need Hub Centric Rings. Most aftermarket wheels center bore is bigger than the stock hub. America's Tire have them and they're cheap.

How do I know which size to get? Do I need to measure the bore on the aftermarket rim?

The wheel manufacturer should tell you what the bore diameter is.

Hmmmm. those look like ACE convex wheels. Are they? (the other name is Braelin BR 02, if you got them from a Canadian dealer, but they are the same wheel). The reason I ask is that all Ace/Braelin wheels are custom bored to match the vehicle they are on, so no centering rings are required. I have not seen any lexus vehicles that have anything other than a 60.1mm center bore. If they came off another Lexus vehicle, they should fit the hub of your car without any problem. If that is the case, then you have another problem on your hands, because it means that it isn't a centering problem.

I just called ACE Alloy wheels to inquire about getting those same wheels for my RX F sport, and he said that the bolt patterns is custom bored, but NOT the center bore. I am so sorry that I posted earlier that the center bore is custom bored....I thought that both were custom to the car they were put on. But the center bore is NOT an automatic fit for Lexus. THe only automatic fit from ACE's factory is for BMW. So.....if you are not using centering rings, that could absolutely give you a vibration if the wheels are even a smidge off center. Rings can be had for less than $30 at your local discount tire or online. So I would try that first and, according to the ACE rep, should fix the vibration problem if the wheels are verified to be balanced.

Again, so sorry....

You need hub centric rings 100%! Or else any car with aftermarket rims with even the slightest millimeter difference in the hub of the car and the wheel hub of the rim will cause vibration no matter what. I had this problem before.
