Default Do u guys fold ur mirrors when parking?

I think the car looks weird with the mirrors folded when looking at it from the front. From the back it kinda looks good.

I use it as an indicator if my doors are locked or not and to give room for my big neighbors to get out of their car and not touching my mirrors.

I use the power folding function as a doors locked indicator, too.

Yup, set them to fold when the shifter goes into park.
I don't want my wife accidently taking out a mirror when she gets out of her CRV with her hands full of her latest purchases

Actually the mirrors are the ONE exterior item I don't really care for on my car.
They stick out too far! Makes it kinda look like the car has big ears LOL

In milder weather I do. I wasn't sure about possible problems with ice in winter so I disabled the auto function when locking

It does have a jam protector built in to prevent burning the motor. I accidently stopped it while it's unfolding when I was cleaning the car and it went back to the folded position.

Use it as a lock indicator too. Set to fold when locking car, didn't know it could be programmed for putting car in park.

My car has "BSM with power folding mirrors", but the mirrors do not automatically fold when locking the doors.

Is there are procedure to turn this function on and off?

There's a button for "auto" next to where you manually press to fold them above the mirror adjustments.

Thanks, I see there are 2 buttons on the mirror control that are not in the owner's manual. I see the one that says auto plus another with a picture of a mirror with an arrow above it?

Interesting that these 2 buttons are not mentioned in the owner's guide.
