Whistle sound around 60 mph decelerating
Edit: realized I had my description of the problem all wrong. Update below. It happens at 60 mph with foot off the gas. Anyone with an awd can confirm?

Huh. Yeah I am not sure. From googling around I have read everything from differential to intake to awd system to paint protection film on the mirror. But in my case it is limited to a very specific zone pressing on the pedal so I can rule out the body or any sort of wind factor, but not sure on the rest.
Anyone else able to take it on the highway and see if they get a subtle whistle around 60mph only when pressing lightly on the gas?
Would the dealer be willing to take a serious look at something like this? I just got the car CPO so I do have warranty.

I'm not sure if the noise mine makes is the same one you're talking about. I notice it most around 50 MPH at light throttle, and is a very high pitched sound like a little jet engine. But very, very quiet, you really have to listen for it with the radio and fan off to hear it at all. This is in a 2014 AWD but the 2013 AWD I test-drove also made exactly the same sound, so it seems to be normal.

I thin we might have the same sound as you.
Its usually happen when you acceleration from complete stop. I can hear it.
I brought it up to local Lexus Service Writer and he told me is Normal. So, I'm not sure.
My also 2013 GS F Sport CPO. Currently in service for; trunk lip scraping the rear bumper, rattle noise by sunroof area, sunroof slider doesn't stay shut, cabin wind noise.
Let me know what you find out.

Ok i have experimented with this a bit more and realized my initial description is not correct. If someone could help me verify this who has the same car I would really appreciate it.
2013 Gs350 awd
- accelerate to 65 mph on highway with windows closed and stereo off
- let go of gas
- low whistle heard as the car slows to 60 mph range, goes away around 55 mph.
If this is normal I am fine with it, though I wish it wasn't such a common speed. If not normal I wonder how I can get the dealer to even acknowledge it.

Does it make the same noise and at the same speed if you are in [say] 4th or 5th gear instead of [I assume] 6th gear (Drive).

My awd '13 makes a faint whining sound when letting off the throttle in high gear. Can only hear it if fan and radio are off so not an issue.

I don't know why but this is driving me nuts. Not the sound, not that big a deal, but just not knowing if what I have is normal or not. I guess I'm extra paranoid since it pre owned.
Anyone have an awd that can test and see if it happens the same way? It's when foot is off the gas at 60 mph basically.
