Question Probably just paranoid, but... knocking/tapping noise?

Just got my 2013 CPO GS350 and love it. I did notice this morning a tapping or ticking noise, like a diesel engine would make, as the car warmed up. Anything to be concerned about or can that be normal for a GS?

Also, are there any recalls or TSBs I should check into for this car?

That's normal. It's just the characteristic sound of the fuel injectors.

As stated above this is normal due to the direct port injectors, its not scientifically proven but it has been tested by myself and others that non ethanol fuel quiets the ticking a little bit. As far as the TSBs go, i'd like to know myself

Yep it's normal. Sounds like trash. Wouldn't sound so weird if it were an old muscle car making the noise lol

Just got my '13 GS last month and that was one of the first things I noticed as well. Never thought to ask anybody about it, just assumed it was normal and sure enough.

Might I just add and I know this has been said a lot in other threads. Everyone who posts on here is usually given a genuine helpful answer. Even when I had my 97 ES300 and frequented these forums it's always been a pleasant experience.

I was a part of the Subaru forums for the past 3 yrs (had a WRX) and it's like night and day. Most likely due to the age difference in WRX/STI drivers vs 4GS drivers. Anytime someone asked a question they'd get yelled at for not using the search function first.
