Lexus Fanatic
No way will the next LS be hybrid and hydrogen only. For one...theres no such thing as a hydrogen car yet...and the new LS comes out in max a year.
I agree it will likely be the last LS with STANDARD V8 power, but I do think there will be a V8 available.

I hope you're right, guys. But there are some rumors about hydrogen...
Lexus is doing stupid steps in Europe. Eg. IS is not available with V6 350, just V6 250 and hybrid 300h. And this year will be V6 250 replaced by 200t 4 cylinder turbocharged. So no V6 in IS lineup anymore. They think it will bring new customers but I'm afraid they will loose the few they're having now...
Be happy you are having big engines in US. Europe is going to hell with all the regulations bringing 3 cylinder turbocharged engines or other crap.
Sorry for OT.

Call me crazy but I think the GS is an upgrade in ways from the LS.
From a value proposition and available features each can be had with I think I'd still take my GS.
The LS is refreshed but in a lot of ways based off of the 2007 model it shares many components with.
Where as our GS are all new from the ground up.
I'm sure my opinion will change with the debut of the all-new LS in a few years to come.
