467 hp..........let the hating begin 
I personally love it, an excellent start.
I can't believe people are hating on a 467 hp V8 GS..........this bring back the epic-ness of the 1998 300 hp V8 GS400. They must have forgot the dreadful 340 hp GS460.
Now let's see the LS-F and SC-F

This looks just as ridiculous as I had imagined back when the teasers came out. (Actually, it's even worse.) This is a total design failure. I don't even know where to begin.
They basically took the front-end design of the RC-F and threw it on the GS's current body. They barely touched the rear-end, so now the GS-F has this curvy and aggressive front with a pretty standard business-like rear-end. Yes they smoked the rear taillights (what is this 2002?) and predictably gave us stacked exhaust and a revised rear apron, but it's all pretty tame back there. It looks just like a conglomeration of disjointed design ideas mashed together haphazardly.
I can't comment on performance until the reviews come out. However I did expect to see the same 5.0L V-8 in the RC-F, but was hoping Lexus would at least tune it to get closer to 500 hp out of it. SMH

Car overall isn't too bad with the interior/exterior. It's the engine that's a bit disappointing along with the weight. Add to the NON two-tone interior the US version is getting. How do you expect to compare with the M5, E63, S6, CTS-V?

Maybe I am just biased because I still have 600 miles on my 2015 F Sport, but I personally prefer the grill on the current generation body from what I am seeing..
I think for the car's larger size the nose is looking a bit pointy and the features kinda small, especially next to the massive new grill. The current styles features seem to really work together with the overall body lines beautifully in my opinion. Of course the spy photos are hard to judge fully.. and maybe I just need to get used to the new look still, they are both undoubtedly ultra SEXY machines!!
And I certainly wouldnt mind that juicy V-8, massive slotted brakes, the wheels are purely awesome, and those aggressive vented fenders lend some style to the side profile...

Totally satisfied with my 2015 F Sport for beauty and balance of power, handling, comfort, and economy, especially for the buck!! I think I will be keeping mine for a long time to come. 2015 is the pinnacle year for the GS (imo)!!!
It still an awesome car though and wouldnt blame anyone for picking one up..the v-8 would be ultra SWEET!!

Whats so disappointing about the weight? The GS350 already weighs 3850ish. Adding a V8 isnt going to make it lighter.
this car is in a strange middle ground. Better than the sport packaged V8 sedans but not as good as the AMG/M V8 sedans but significantly cheaper. Maybe this car can draw people that dont want to spend $100k+ on the E63 and M5 but want something more than just a sport packaged V8 sedan
the GS wasnt designed to have an F variant from the beginning, unlike the RCF. To me the RCF is still a superior designed vehicle than the GSF for this reason alone. GSF is another ISF where this is what they had to work with.

Way to kill the "F Brand" - this car will be laughed at compared to M5, E63, CTS-V, RS7 etc.
Styling is good, esp the interior.
Performance wise it should NOT be an F model but a GS500 Fsport.
BMW 550 and CTS V-sport are the competitors for this....
