Default GS350 - premium or regular gas?

Considering a used GS 350 - sales rep says I can use regular - of course - I don't know if I should trust him.
Thanks..

Either you misunderstood the sales representative, or the sales representative was uninformed...or the sales representative purposely told you wrong information.

The GS 350 engine should most definitely not be operated with Regular (87 Octane) gasoline...or even Mid Grade (89 Octane) gasoline. The GS 350 engine requires Premium (91 Octane) or higher gasoline.
