So I've got 20% all around and 70% on the windshield, Solargard is the brand. They claim up to 60% heat reduction and I gotta tell you it's on point, I've gotten in the car at 95° and the car feels nowhere near as hot as my old GS with 5% tints. Here's a few pics ...
New GS350 F-Sport and my '01 GS430 to compare the look between 20% and 5% - not much of a difference honestly lol.

Rear window tint
All,
I just got a tint job with the 3M Crystalline 40% all around tint.
I noticed that after the tint, when I look in my rear view mirror in night time driving, I am now seeing a vertical stack of lights.
It looks as though I see the headlight from the car behind me and I also see a the reflection of that light on all the horizontal rear defroster lines.

The little dashes are lights reflected off the main head lights on the rear defroster line while the big O is the headlight itself. The installer claims the tint job was done correctly and everything does look good. No bubbles, creases, water marks or anything. It's a clean job. He thinks it's the effects of the film itself.
Anyone else see this?

Interesting, no idea what that would be, but look forward to the replies. I'm looking into crystalline myself, just not as dark. Do you feel a noticeable drop in heat as they claim?
