2013 RWD: These reading have been consistent for over 2 years:

Everyday driving around DFW Metroplex, 22.6

Highway driving (DFW to OKC and return, DFW to Austin and return) @ 70-75 MPH, 30-32 MPG

I just bought my 2013 luxury pkg gs RWD a few months ago. Installed brand new tires, cinturato p7 all season. I've been average around 30-32 mpg hwy and around 23-25 mpg mix driving. Fresh oil change today, penzoil platinum full synthetic, full tank of chevron supreme gas and off on the 1st road trip with AC on full time that average 34-35mpg hwy, way better than the estimated 26 mpg suggest.

There was some traffic so I had to slow down causing mpg drop.

So I drive in heavy traffic to work daily. probably 17mpg. End up doing around 19km(12m) in an hour. Average around town is 18-19 with this daily grind included. Took a road trip to my old man's 1300km one way. We did around 3000km (1875m) for the trip. Wife and kids in the car with the trunk packed to capacity. btw: I cant believe how big the trunk actually is! I fit all our luggage, some toys, baby seat, car booster seat and even a small bicycle in there . I drove around 130-140 km/h (80-90mph) and got a return of around 27-28mpg. For me that is pretty good given the size of the car and the weight. I am sure 30+ is readily achievable with a little more economical driving... ps mine is RWD and I work at altitute. 1400m+(almost 5000feet)

I have a 2014 AWD Luxury. I took a trip to the east coast, was getting around 28mpg to 30mpg highway on the trip. At one point I got 31.4. Had it in Eco mode mostly, traveling around 70mph.

That was with AC on, trunk fully loaded with golf clubs, suit cases, other items, back seats loaded pretty well, passenger seat with some stuff and on the crappy Dunlop Sport 500's(don't seem as bad as reviews so far.

Tire Pressure monitor read 38psi when warm, did use a Redline fuel system/injector cleaner before I left because I think bad gas was in it and it sat for a while before I bought it.

It is also due for a oil change.

Mine is phenomenal on the highway. When I drive down to Oregon I can get 28 mpg easy. But the bulk of my driving is around town, let's call it "suburban" routes as I wouldn't really classify it as "city". Lots of stop lights and 35 to 45 mph zones. For my "suburban" day to day driving, I average around 17 mpg.

Mine is a 2015 AWD with 19k miles on it.

something I have found... It appears to be less heavy on fuel when you drive it slightly more aggressively in town... I wait till it pops into 2nd gear when pulling away then give it a little more pressure on the pedal and I am up to the speed limit in a second or two, then ease off to coast at say 1200rpm. It appears to use much less fuel than laboring to the speed limit from pull away... Anyone else found this?

also. this is the first car that actually gives better mileage than what the car estimates

This is definitely true. You want to spend the least amount of time in 1st and 2nd, get up to the speed limit, then coast with light throttle. Driving like a granny and slowly getting up to speed is not good for mileage with this car.

My PB with this car is 28mpg on 100% highway(roadtrip), with US gas. Canadian gas gets at least 5% worse gas mileage due to ethanol and additive package. When I have a US trip planned, I always time it so I have just enough gas to limp across the border, and fill up with the good stuff.

I’m getting about 23ish avg 80% hwy 20% city.. 2015 AWD f-sport. Cinturato P7plus tires. Car is at 44k miles.

Worst tank was 19.5 due to traffic jams. Best was like 24.6 with mostly highway. I bet on a long road trip I’d break 26 easy but haven’t had anything past 200 or so miles on a leg where it wasn’t hampered by heavy traffic or stoppages. It only takes 20 minutes of that crap to plummet your mileage.

ETA: I drive in normal 95% of the time, only use eco in lumbering, dense city traffic under 40 mph.

yes Eco mode is purely for bumper to bumper gridlock. It is nice to know that I dont have to control my leg mussels as much. I am starting to think normal mode is actually not required... Normal driving in sport mode is more than good enough for me

ps: if only the red glow went with the other colors
