Cool watch problem

Hi LExus club,
I bought Lexus GS450h 2013 with sport packages and the car is full options( lane departure waring is missing only).

Seine I bought the car there is a problems I discovered in the car:
watch problem: is moving fast( today I rest the watch 12:00 , after 24 it will be 12:30 or more??!)
the dealer said they will keep car for 24 hours and take picture of watch and send it to japan to ask for replacement. Car is under warranty until 2017. some of me friend said it might be electric problem in the car?

Does anyone face or heard about this problem before??

Any Advise?

I've read the clocks in the North American GS's lose a couple of minutes each month. I update mine once a month. I have never had it run too fast!

I had the same problem, clock is too slow.

During servicing, I mentioned to the Service Consultant and he replied the speed can be adjusted, from -2 to +2. Currently I have it adjusted to +2, it is slightly slower. I need to adjust once in 3 months, which I can tolerate.

Can't say I have ever looked at the clock. I will now. Just to see how slow/fast it is.

I wish the GS had a digital clock - funny thing is the navigation knows what time it is (I believe there is even a place you can set it in the navigation system) - because it receives the time from the GPS signal, but they don't have a way to display it on the navigation screen.

Yes, it is one of the most stupid things on this car. You have to set the dashboard watch manually although the car knows the accurate time from GPS which uses only for showing what is estimated time to destination during navigating...

You have to step up to the big daddy LS to get a GPS linked analog clock.

It is definitely a bit embarrassing that they can't get their dash clock to work right (or that it doesn't just set with the system clock)

Default Clock runs too fast

My 2013 GS 350'S clock gains about 30 minutes everyday. It seems to have started malfunctioning this week. The replacement part alone is $420.00 plus tax. Installation is extra. Luckily my car is still under warranty until July 2019, so the dealership will replace it if it proves to be the defective after testing it for 24 hours. There doesn't seem to be any way to adjust the clock, so it will have to be replaced.
I'm going to have the repair completed after the holiday season, and I'll keep everyone posted of my success.
