Default 2014 GS 350 F Sport - Whistling Noise

Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum, so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place.

I bought my car brand new last Friday. Every time I drive over 40 mph I can hear this annoying whistling noise. I'm going to get it service on Saturday, but wanted to see if anyone has encounter the same problem. I'm not sure what's causing it. I'm not sure if it's normal or not, but it drives me crazy. The reason why I bought another Lexus is because it's quiet.

Check the driver side mirror outside (the black triangle area). It's been posted before. Might be it.

Rather odd... Most be external like Jeff said.

Otherwise bad door seal?

Wouldn't expect this of a new lexus tbh

Do you have the paint protective film on your car? If you do, removing it from the right side mirror will likely get rid of the whistling noise. Let the dealer do it to prevent damage to the mirror. It has worked for others. Do a search on this forum for how others have dealt with this problem.

It was already making the noise before I got my clear mask put on. Thanks for replying.

Thanks, I will have them look into it, I hope they can fix it. It also sucks because I got the ML audio system as well, but the driver side rattles when I play a song with a lot of bass in it.

Driver's side what rattles? Alot of us have had the dealer fix the rattling switches problem (for door locks, windows etc.) but if you're taking it in for that, have them do the passenger door also. The bass the front speakers in the ML models makes is too much for the little cups the switches sit in, so they rattle like crazy. A few strips of well placed felt tape fixes it, your dealer should know how to do this easily.
