Default New Car Smell :)

Hey I just signed papers on a new F Sport. Trading in my '13 VW CC, my first Lexus and I could not be more excited. I pick it up on Monday so pics to follow. It's liquid platinum with Cabernet interior.

Congrats! I've had my GS F-Sport for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it, I'm sure you will as well.

Thanks guys I'm really looking forward to it! It's going to have a hell of a life, it will live down a dirt road, cross two cattle guards and won't get to park in the garage. And I have two babies lol I know it will hold up well, hopefully because the dealer is 3 1/2 hours away. My wife has a '14 4Runner Limited and we both really like it-except it's dated 5 speed transmission.

Congrats! I've had my Liquid Platinum/Cabernet for 2 years and 4 months (17,500 miles) and still love it everytime I drive it. Great car and great color combo! And BTW, the new car smell has been replaced by the great smell of Lexus leather over time.

Congrats and welcome to the F Sport club! Although the part about the dirt road and cattle guards almost made me cry. She deserves better, so at least hand wash!

I have the same feelings trust me, wish I had that neighborhood and garage instead. And since my car is a lease, I probably won't hand wash... Especially since it will be dirty by the time I park at my house.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I'm so excited, just been living through you guys until Monday comes.

Just noticed you're in NM. Depending on which part, you'll mainly deal with dust so a decent California Duster can help alot between washings. Don't get the knock off model, it'll just coat your car with lint.

Since you'll be driving on dirt roads and in dust you definitely picked the right color. I can go for a week without washing my LP GS and it still looks clean.
