Default Metal clanking under car

Going to schedule my first service on my '14 F Sport for early next week. I only have 3k on the car but I have 2 issues.

1. Weather stripping where the driver door closes is peeling off. No big deal

2. Metal clanking noise coming from the rear of the car. Happens when I hit even the slightest dips, it's coming from the left side and the right side. Sounds like my exhaust is loose, but the cars 100% stock. I got under and shook some things but can't replicate it. Plan on asking the tech to come for a ride so they don't pull the "we couldn't replicate the noise" line.

Anyone have a similar issue with the noise?

The metal clanging might have something to do with the parking brake line needing tightening. I remember a few owners having issues with this I think.

Interesting. The noise is so loud that I figured it was something heavy like the exhaust. Was hoping to bring it in tomorrow, but the earliest appointment they have is for Monday. I'll mention the ebrake line and make sure I update this thread when I get the car back.

Could be the heat shield for the exhaust...

I had (still have) the same issue. Dealer adjusted the position of the heat shield thinking that may be the problem, but that didn't help.

Ok. I think i'm probably gonna win the weird clanking noise contest. I have a 2014 Tundra and I was getting a "clanking" noise that sounded like a left front wheel bearing that may have been loose. Listened closely and it only clanked once in a while, like every couple of days. Then the TPMS light came on but the air in the tires was good (including the spare), so I took her in to the dealership and they found the TMPS sensor had detached from the valve stem. Yup, it was banging off the inside of the wheel as it rolled around inside. Fixed now but never had anything like that happen before. Hope your clanking noise is just as simple!

Default Update**

So my issue was also the parking brake as yardie mentioned. Took the car about 20 yards with the tech, heard the noise and said parking brake. Picked up the car and it's gone now. Very happy with my service experience today. Thanks guys

I'm traveling and won't be home until Tuesday evening, would that be too late? The write up said something along the lines of greasing the e brake. I'll email my service advisor and see if he can get me the info today.

The dealer got back to me faster than expected.
