Trek....Let me put this into perspective for you. I own 6 cars. My new Lexus GS350 is by far the cheapest car in my stable. In fact my next least expensive car cost twice as much as the GS. In short the GS is special only to those of us who have purchased or leased one...It is nothing special in the world of cars. Like someone else stated if you want to feel special drive an LFA.

I think its sad that the op isn't confident to form his own opinions about the car and his judgment varies based on if others are buying the car and how others may perceive him..
What are you in high school? where you're worried that you'll be labelled as a nerd? Have some self confidence in your own opinions. like a car because you like it. Who cares what others think. Sheesh I feel like im giving a speech to an emo teen

48% of people in Toronto were not born there, just the way it is.

I got a limo out the airport one time, jumped in without really looking, it was a new Lexus, tons of space inside, way more than my GS, nice quiet ride, I just assumed it was the new LS - got out at the end, realized it was an ES!

Trek, just go sell you're Lexi off because you clearly are appalled at riding in nice vehicles. How dare someone or a company other than you drive one of their cars?

If I was in NY or some other large city and I had the option of a worn out Crown Vic or a E350, I don't think I'd have to think long and hard about which I would rather ride in.

I think this guy traded in his GS for a YUGO as he will certainly be the only one on the road with one.....

Anyway, I also experienced another horror, a chilling sight I've seen nowhere else, certainly not in the US of A. Lexuses (or is it Lexi?) used as limos! Okay, all the ones I saw were ES 350s, but still. The sight of a car that closely resembles my GS 350 used for livery was appalling! What's up with that? And they had special communications antennae. I saw them everywhere! At the airport picking up passengers, downtown, you name it.

The last thing I want is to own a car common to rental fleets, taxis, or, God forbid, limos. Sheesh. I can't get the visual memory out of my head!
get a clue about life. and lexus. your car is based on a camry. its not exactly top of the line for lexus.

The GS has nothing in common with a Camry and I've had 5 Camrys before. The ES maybe but now it's based on the Avalon.

The GS350 is based on the Toyota Aristo which is not available in the States. My last car was a Camry and it is night and day different then my GS.

This guy and his quoted said the GS350 is based on the Camry hence my question. I didn't think it was but put it out there for comment. The GS has a much different feel from the ES in my opinion.

I'm sorry sir, but you have now exceeded your allotment of "logical thoughts posted to internet forums," for the month of June.

Moving forward, the rest of your posts must be ignorant, immature and/or uneducated in nature.
