Volume control for blind spot monitor??

The blind spot monitor, a key feature for me, came on for first time just now.

Great BUT the volume was so low I barely heard it. How do I increase the volume?

I never knew there was any volume on it. I guess mine might of been turned off. If you look under the dash on the driver side, you will see a volume adjustment ****. I am not sure if its for that or not.

I am going to take a look into this later today.

Are you talking about the rear cross traffic alert system? The BSM does not make any sound.

Really?? My Mazda BSM is a warning light, unless I hit the turn signal--then it beeps. Works really well.

Mines only beeps when backing up and a car is comming and when I hit the lane change and a car is in the blind spot. It does not beep when a car I in blind spot while me going straight.

BSM does not make a sound... the rear cross traffic monitor does and mine is very audible...

I meant cross traffic alert which you purchase as part of the blind spot package. Sorry about the confusion.

If I had the radio on even a little but I would not have heard it. It was pretty low.

Is there an adjustment for the volume like there is for the parking assist?

Well there is a setting to adjust the parking assist beep volume, it is somewhere on the nav settings. You can make it very loud or very soft.

I know. Found it easily and turned it up

You won't have a cross traffic alert unless you're in a 2014 model. In the 2013's, the parking assist had a form of this which was really just the sensors telling you you were about to back into something. Same thing, almost. The 2013's with parking assist let you adjust the volume via...the parking assist volume.

I'm pretty sure the 2014's have a different or updated system for this. Someone please correct me.
