There are times that I find the blackout annoying, but most of the time I would NOT want the nav to be "stopped.

So in practice, I'd have to press that little button to do the disabled function, and press it again to disable the override.

Does that sum it up correctly?

BTW, I have zero need for anyone to watch video while moving.

Yes, you got it right.

you can set the module to revert after 2,3, or 5 minutes after the button is pressed. Default is 2 minutes. When you are entering the address you cant see the stopped map anyways. 2 min is more than enough time to enter a destination.

it comes with instructions. not hard at all. take your time and cover the center console with a towel so you don't scratch it.

Yep, I recently put this in, and it goes in surprising easily. The passangers can now watch DVDs on the roll, and I can have full function of my navi on the roll as well. I highly recommend. $100 is a fair price considering what they could charge.

Default Installed Mine yesterday

Installied relatively easily having never done this before, took about 45 min total and works flawlessly. Only issue I had was the grey clip that locks the plugs into the unit Cracked when I pried it off, so take it easy on that step.

It doesn't "play" anything, it just defeats the lockout of DVD and navigation while in motion. Any playing capability remains what came with the vehicle

Hello,
I was wondering if I could still purchase the beatsonic for my 2015 GS 350 F Sport with the group buy pricing?

For those that only see this thread and haven't purchased. I would look at the Vaistech or Prestigious Society before Beat-Sonic.

Both Vaistech and PS integrate controls into the steering wheel instead of requiring an extra button. For those that want a factory look the extra $75-125 is worth it.

Just my opinion.
