Default RWD vs AWD F Sport

Can anyone attest to the difference other then the obvious. Live in the NOVA outside DC and you cannot find any RWD F Sport which is no surprise compared to the many that you can find in the south. I typically have order RWD on my previous E's and 5 series. Thanks.

RWD F-sport gets bigger front brakes with better calipers, staggered tire sizes, and the "dynamic handling" thing is available (which includes rear steering and variable ratio steering).

AWD F-sport doesn't get the front brake upgrade or the staggered tire sizes, and the dynamic handling package isn't available for it.

Thanks that is what I noticed as well and would prefer the RWD since I have a AWD SUV. Many thanks,

I'd rather have RWD at anytime it just the best drivetrain to have fun in.
End of story haha

Not only that but AWD cars have more parasitic power loss from driving another pair of axles, extra weight, higher ride height (most of the time) and more complexity. I'd pick RWD over AWD any day of the week unless I lived up north.

just messing around on Lexus's site and it seems that I am unable to build a RWD F Sport with rain sensing wipers or heated/ventilated seats while having the HUD and the DRS. Is this right? Am I missing something?

I am looking to get a GS but if I don't have to have AWD then I would rather get the RWD with the above mentioned options. Especially the HUD.

Lexus' website sucks for building.

You most certainly can get a RWD FSport with the above options. They had several so equipped at the dealer I bought from. Mine has rain sensing wipers and heated vented seats, but not HUD or DRS.

Yeah, call your dealer, their website is crap. My F Sport has all those options.
