Default Estimated mileage left in tank

Stupid question, but where is the option for the estimated mileage left on a tank of gas? I checked the odometer options quickly and didn't see it. Is there a quick way besides the actual gas gauge?

Yep, the "cruising range" option accessed through the DISP button on the steering wheel is one way. Also you can use the nav screen to get at that information. For example if on the mini-screen on the right side, you bring up the tab with the "bar graphs" icon, and then scroll through the different data pages on that. One of 'em should have a cruising range stat on it too.

Thanks guys. I don't drive much, and I was curious as to what the car estimated as I was just under a quarter tank. I appreciate the help

Does anyone else notice that the last quarter of a tank seems to go pretty quickly? This isn't my first Lexus but my '13 GS seems to go from 1/4 to E fast. Anyone else notice or is it just me?

I'm not sure if it's a psychological thing but I think all my previous and current cars do the same.

Is there a way to change the setting on the gas reminder? Drove the car yesterday and it seems that there is a 15 mile setting before it goes off, I was luckily close to a station however might not be so lucky next time.

Yeah the DISP button has some good info. The cruising range and TPMS readout are two of my favorites. I am suprised they don't have the gear position in the display like the IS (2IS/3IS) especially on the F-Sport for when you're just in D (Auto).

This readings are inaccurate. It shows range 0 for me already after warning lights get displyed. When my orange lamp goes on, I have 10 liters left as, manual, which I reexamined to be accurate. I have driven about 100 km om orange light ( 0 km on disp view) and still had 3 liters left (tanked 63 lit on stated 66lit). But then GS450H does not devour gas as the 300.

That sounds about right. All cars nowadays have a reserve so when it shoes tangents is no fuel left you know you can at least make it to the gas station. Of course your reserve would last much longer than ours since it is a hybrid.
