While it's likely the GS F will receive the latest 5.0L V8 going into the RC F, this engine is a bridge engine and probably their last efforts in NA, so there's an off chance that if the GS F debuts late next year/early the year after it'll have one of the new gen powertrains namely a FI TTV8 mill. That of course is speculation, as the next gen LS and upcoming LF-LC flagships may be graced with new FI powertrains first.

Nah, it'll be special enough with a 454hp V8. I always said this car needed +50hp to begin with, this will be great. Plus, I don't like V10's unless you can really see and hear them, ala Lamborghini and the Audi R8. Put that baby under glass out back. The RC-F could do it.

454 hp is boring? I have a tt BMW. I like it, but I still have a love of high reving NA engines as well. And I'm not marrierd to the BMW logo. I will very seriously consider a GSF with that engine if it out when my lease is up a year from now.

I'm not saying that 454 hp is boring. I'm just saying that 454 hp v8 in a big boat like the GS is boring. I'd rather opt for a smaller sedan like the C63 AMG with 450 hp for the fun factor if I'm just going with a V8. And if you really wanted to increase the fun factor in the C63 you can go with the 507 Edition with 507 HP.

TT V8 would be interesting somehow be more tunable for anyone that wanted to do that. Even a NA V8 wouldn't be bad I would say it would fill that gap in where the 4GS needs it. Other people would think that the current V6 is enough but to the guys who are drivers and not just "Driving" would make them happier with more power.

Would even be even more of a beast in a lighter GS-F.

GS-F with RC-F powertrain is coming. IS-F is not - similar to Subaru claiming that they couldn't do the WRX STI in both Sedan and Hatch form, Lexus chose to have the RC-F coupe over the IS-F sedan.

As have every other publication. Take it with a grain of salt. They're regurgitating the same info we've known for months it's nothing new. We've had many threads on this, and looking at your join date you've missed a few big ones.
For the next several years Lexus plans to highlight F and F-Sport as a marque for the brand. This year it's the RC F garnering the spotlight as a 2015 model. Hence and like I wrote earlier, the GS F is likely as a 2016 in 2015.
And about the IS F, again we've known for months that the IS F will not return or rather put on hiatus. When the 4GS debuted I posted a picture of the engine bay to show the ample space between the engine block and radiator, GS F is coming and we know it'll have a V8. Same thing happened when I went to Torrance/Irvine in April of 2013 before the 3IS was launched in June, I noted the space or rather lack of space in the engine bay. Lexus built the 3IS with no intention of putting a V8 in it.
Now about two months ago I posted a thread; The Official Future of Lexus Thread, with some great news. A twin turbo V6 and twin turbo V8 are being developed. With the 250/350 powertrains coming up on a decade of service there's an excellent chance these new FI mills will debut in/on 2016/models. Most likely IS, GS, RC and LS.
